The house
Why we like it
The design is the reason people remember it. The house won the Balearic Islands Architecture Prize, and you notice why from the first moment. Still, what guests use most is the pool at the centre. So the whole house turns towards the water all day.
Villa Anur stands in a very quiet spot near Sant Jordi, in the south of Ibiza. The village is a ten-minute walk away, with restaurants, shops and a supermarket. So the house works for a week without much driving.
Villa Anur: your private home in Ibiza
Its architecture is what you notice first: an L-shaped plan that wraps around the central pool. Because of that, every room looks onto the garden and the water. At the centre sit the living-dining room, the kitchen and the hall.
Then there is the main bedroom with its en-suite bathroom at one end, and two further bedrooms plus a full bathroom at the other. In total, three bedrooms and two bathrooms for six guests .
Inside the house
Large windows fill the 170 m² with light at any hour. Inside it is modern and serene, with air conditioning and Wi-Fi throughout. The kitchen is fully equipped, so cooking at home is easy. And the airport is seven minutes away, Ibiza Town five.
The pool and the garden
The large pool sits at the centre of the house. A generous garden surrounds it, with sun loungers, parasols and even an outdoor bed. There is a barbecue area and an al fresco dining space as well. Besides that, private parking is generous.

Dalt Vila & the town, Es Vedrà & the south-west beaches.
Sa Caleta, beside the beach of the same name, serves fish and rice facing the sea. In Sant Jordi itself there is also a very good sushi restaurant, Umami. And for a swim, Es Cavallet is a long natural beach inside the Ses Salines park, quiet if you choose its northern end.
