Villa Anur stands in a very quiet spot near Sant Jordi, in the south of Ibiza. The village is a ten-minute walk away, with restaurants, shops and a supermarket. So the house works for a week without much driving.

Its architecture is what you notice first: an L-shaped plan that wraps around the central pool. Because of that, every room looks onto the garden and the water. At the centre sit the living-dining room, the kitchen and the hall. Then there is the main bedroom with its en-suite bathroom at one end, and two further bedrooms plus a full bathroom at the other. In total, tres habitaciones y dos baños para seis invitados.

Large windows fill the 170 m² with light at any hour. Inside it is modern and serene, with air conditioning and Wi-Fi throughout. The kitchen is fully equipped, so cooking at home is easy. And the airport is seven minutes away, Ibiza Town five.
La piscina y el jardín
En Gran piscina sits at the centre of the house. A generous garden surrounds it, with sun loungers, parasols and even an outdoor bed. There is a zona de barbacoa and an al fresco dining space as well. Besides that, private parking is generous.

The design is the reason people remember it. The house won the Balearic Islands Architecture Prize, and you notice why from the first moment. Still, what guests use most is the pool at the centre. So the whole house turns towards the water all day.

Sa Caleta, beside the beach of the same name, serves fish and rice facing the sea. In Sant Jordi itself there is also a very good sushi restaurant, Umami. And for a swim, Es Cavallet is a long natural beach inside the Ses Salines park, quiet if you choose its northern end.
