The house
Why we like it
The generosity of the outdoor space is what guests mention, and the silence around it. Between the large pool and the shaded corners, the day passes without much planning. Still, the village is a five-minute drive. So dinner out is always easy.
Villa Plana Menut sits in the middle of Ibiza, close to Santa Gertrudis and Sant Rafel. Shops, restaurants and services are a few minutes away by car. So the house combines privacy with easy access to everything.
Villa Plana Menut: your private home in Ibiza
A welcoming entrance hall leads into a carefully restored house. There are three bedrooms , one double and two twin, and one full bathroom , for a group of up to six . Worth bearing in mind when you organise the group: there is a single bathroom. Because the rest of the house is generous, that is the only constraint.
Inside the house
The restoration kept many traditional features. Thick whitewashed walls, wooden beams and timber ceilings give it real character. Everything here speaks of calm, and the house stays naturally cool. There is a balcony and Wi-Fi.
The pool and the gardens
Extensive private grounds surround the house. There is a twelve by six metre pool for the hottest hours and a very pleasant sun terrace for eating outdoors. The landscaped gardens offer quiet corners to switch off. As a result, this is a house enjoyed mostly outside.
Pets: dogs are welcome at Villa Plana Menut. So please let us know in advance, because an extra cost may apply.

Calm beaches & easy living, with a family feel & a seafront promenade.
Bar Costa, in Santa Gertrudis, is a local essential for ham and country bread. Aubergine, on the Sant Miquel road, cooks organic Mediterranean food with its own vegetable garden. And for a swim, Cala Salada has pale sand and turquoise water framed by pines, a quarter of an hour away.
